Fexofenadine (Generic Allegraź) is used to relieve hay fever and allergy
symptoms, including runny nose; sneezing; and red, itchy, tearing eyes. It
is also used to treat symptoms of hives, including itching and rash.
Fexofenadine is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It works
by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic
symptoms. Fexofenadine may cause less drowsiness than other
antihistamines.
Fexofenadine comes as a 180mg tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken
two or three times daily. It may be taken with or without food. Take
